Hedj terms of use
About version 1
- What changed
- First published version
- Why
- Hedj is publishing written terms for the individual people who use its platform for the first time.
- What it means for you
- Every person who uses Hedj accepts these terms once for themselves. They cover acceptable use, keeping your account secure and acting within the permissions your organisation gives you.
These terms of use apply to you as an individual user of the Hedj platform at app.hedj.eu. The platform is provided by Hedj Financial Risk Management Limited ("Hedj", "we", "us").
Hedj Financial Risk Management Limited is a company registered in Ireland (registered no. 803831). Registered address: 2 Southwood Park, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, A94 D2C1, Ireland.
Your organisation's use of Hedj is governed by the Hedj Master Terms, accepted for it by a director or authorised person. These terms of use set out what Hedj expects of you personally.
1. You act for your organisation
1.1 You use Hedj on behalf of the organisation that gave you access. You may act only within the roles, permissions and authority limits your organisation has given you in Hedj.
1.2 If you belong to more than one organisation in Hedj, make sure you are working in the right one before you enter data or give an instruction.
1.3 Accepting these terms of use does not mean you accept the Master Terms for your organisation. Only a director, or a person authorised to act for the organisation who has confirmed the Hedj authority statement, can do that.
2. Keeping your account secure
2.1 Keep your password and any other sign-in details secret. Do not share your account with anyone, including colleagues.
2.2 Use the security features Hedj offers, such as multi-factor authentication, where your organisation or Hedj requires them.
2.3 Tell us straight away at support@hedj.eu, and tell an admin of your organisation, if you think someone else has used your account or knows your sign-in details.
3. Acceptable use
3.1 You must not:
- use Hedj for anything unlawful, including breaking sanctions, fraud or money laundering;
- give an instruction you know to be false or misleading, or one you are not authorised to give;
- try to access data belonging to another organisation or user, or to parts of Hedj you have not been given access to;
- upload data you have no right to share, or malicious code of any kind;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the platform, or try to get around its security or limits, except where the law allows you to; or
- use Hedj to build a competing product.
3.2 We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your organisation asks us to, or if we need to protect the platform, other users or our partners.
4. Confidentiality
4.1 Keep the information you see in Hedj confidential. Use it only for your organisation's business, and share it only with people who are entitled to see it.
5. No advice
5.1 Analytics, scores, rankings, selectors, forecasts and AI outputs in Hedj are information to support decisions. They are not advice or a personal recommendation.
6. Your personal data
6.1 Our privacy notice explains how we handle your personal data.
7. Changes
7.1 We may change these terms of use by publishing a new version, with a summary of what changed, why, and what it means for you. A new version takes effect when it is published, and you will be asked to accept it when you next sign in. If you do not accept it, your continued use of Hedj from two months after it is published is deemed acceptance. If you do not agree with it, you may stop using Hedj, or your organisation may end its agreement with Hedj, before then.
8. Governing law
8.1 These terms of use are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. This does not take away any mandatory protection given to you by the law of the country where you live.
